Deadly Circus Fire
The Submit Fest Friday will be closed by none other than London-based progressive metal band Deadly Circus Fire! DCF was the headliner at the very first edition of Submit Fest in 2017, and for our fifth festival anniversary, we are bringing the band back to Rotterdam! During the corona pandemic, the band wrote and recorded the follow-up to the well-received second album ‘The Hydra’s Tailor’. ‘EXTINCTION’ was released in 2022, which features rock-solid tracks such as “Bombs Away”, “White Wash” and “Medicine”, and the band is ready to tour again now. The band has previously shared the stage and toured with the likes of Skindred, Crossfaith and Bleed From Within and always manage to put on a strong show. The show at Submit Fest 2023 is even more special, as it will be the band’s first show since Pandemic and since singer Adam Grant’s return to DCF. In any case, we cannot wait to hear the new tracks as well as classics like “House of Plagues” or “Where It Lies” live again!
