Serve is a Utrecht-based hardcore band and, as they say themselves, not for the ‘faint of heart’. With vicious drums, distorted riffs and harrowing vocals, the band tells a story about the effect mental illness can have on a person. They explore in graphic detail the vicious cycle that starts with depression and is perpetuated by substance abuse and feelings of isolation and guilt. The band recently released their first album ‘The Light Outlives The Sun’, which also includes ‘Enabler’ featuring Alma Alizadeh (For I Am King). We can’t wait to see them live at the Submit Fest!
