The Five Hundred (UK, technical melodic metalcore)
UK-based band The Five hundred, also labelled as ’truly one of the best metal bands’ by Kerrang, brings crushing yet melodic metalcore. Previously often labelled as ‘Meshuggah with Killswitch refrains’, the band has since developed their own unique sound, perfected their live shows and built a following during the releases and tours of their first two albums (Long Branch Records – SPV). These included playing at festivals such as Download, UK Tech-Fest, Euroblast and Radar. Next summer, they will follow up A World On Fire (2021) with a third album featuring ‘anthemic, yet haunting’ vocals and ‘earthshattering, downtuned riffs’. Anyway, we are ready to hear more of this and look forward to welcoming them on stage to blow us away at Submit Fest!
